The Third Interim Strategy Note (ISN) was presented to the World Bank Board of Directors on March 19, 2009. The ISN outlines the World Bank Group's work program for the next two years and a half years and draws on lessons learned from the implementation of the first and second ISNs.
This ISN will be closely linked with four of the six strategic themes for the Bank Group: (i) post-conflict and fragile states; (ii) middle-income countries; (iii) the Arab World Initiative; and (iv) knowledge and learning.
